KOROK® NZ Ltd manufactures fire and acoustic-rated wall panels at our factory in Hamilton. Originally established under the name “Speedwall®,” the company rebranded in 2018 as KOROK® Building Systems to reflect our growth and evolution. Today, KOROK® provides design support and product services to the most respected architects, engineers, developers, and construction professionals in New Zealand. The 78mm KOROK® panels are engineered to provide exceptional performance in both fire and acoustic applications. These panels are roll-formed from high-quality COLORSTEEL® steel strips, with the steel conforming to the rigorous AS/NZS1397:2001 standard.
The combination of steel shells and an aerated concrete core ensures outstanding durability and functionality. Weighing approximately 10.2kg per lineal metre, these panels offer a lightweight solution that does not compromise on strength or safety.

KOROK® fire and acoustic rated wall systems offer superior solutions for lift shafts, risers, and ducts. Lift shafts require fire and acoustic rated protection to ensure building safety. With our innovative panel design, you can install from one side only, eliminating the need for internal scaffolding and significantly reducing construction time and costs.

Single-side installation: No scaffolding required inside the shaft, speeding up the construction process.
Fire and acoustic performance: Our systems provide high-level fire resistance and acoustic insulation, ensuring safety and comfort. For lift shafts, this fire and acoustic rated protection is critical.
